Members of our committee realised how much information people with learning disabilities missed because most of us cannot read. Also, because of the new "Equality
Duty", everyone has a responsibility to make sure people have information accessible to everyone, our DVD's meet that responsibility.
Speakup committee members are very involved in making all the DVD's
from working out the storyline to acting in the them. We have worked with lots of other people like Mencap, STEPS, SureStart, the DWP and the Government too!
This year we are celebrating 20 years!
