2003 - THE EUROPEAN YEAR OF DISABILITY

As part of the European Year of Disability (2003), Speakup is going to make an exciting video to tell people about 'Street Law'. The video will be free to lots of people and it will be made in different languages.

Speakup are working in partnership with "The College of Law" to make a video about being StreetWise. They are helping us make sure that what we make is lawful and in plain English. The project will:

• Help people to understand how to be responsible when out and about like keeping your eyes and ears open, keeping your hands free and never accepting a lift from a stranger.
• Give people with disabilities the chance to write and act in the video in partnership with Speakup.
