Advice and Legislation

Speakup is able to offer training, information and advice packages throughout the UK. We have many skilled self-advocates who are trainers and all our advisors are qualified tutors.

At Speakup we know how to 'listen' and tailor packages to meet the needs of organisations that support people with learning disabilities to lead independent lives offering choice, opportunities and Person Centred Planning.

Speakup know how to cost for independent self-advocacy services and enable people with learning disabilities to manage a self-advocacy organisation. We have friendly policies in our quality file that look at funding control, equal opportunities, a working constitution and health & safety (both at home and in the workplace).
