Speakup has producing an accessible DVD for people with learning disabilities about parenting. People with learning disabilities miss out on a lot of the information and services which other people take for granted. This can be because they do not understand letters, leaflets and other information about the services available.

This accessible DVD will show people what the services are, what people like Social Workers, Health Visitors and Midwives do and how they can help. We hope that an accessible DVD like this will help parents with learning disabilities to make an informed choice about using services and help them work with professionals.
