started making information accessible to all about 15 years ago and has been making information DVD's and friendly leaflets ever since. People with learning disabilities, who have lots of experience using plain
English, work in partnership with our professional production team to make friendly information. Because our DVD's are friendly and clear, they are great for the elderly, people with Mental Health issues, people
learning English (Asylum Seekers etc) and anyone with basic skills needs. If you need to talk to people with learning disabilities, people with learning disabilities can help you. Speakup can do professional work
for you which is friendly and makes sense of any Jargon. We do charge for our service, we can do leaflets, posters, procedures etc. and the money helps us to employ people with learning disabilities to do the work.
