Speakup is producing an accessible DVD for people with learning disabilities about Gastrointestinal Cancer called "Belly Ache". This is a kind of
Cancer which can happen in your stomach, throat or in your bottom. There are a lot more people with learning disabilities than anyone else affected by this type of Cancer. A lot of them don't get the right help
straight away. This can be because they don't know what the signs are or that they don't know who to ask for help.
This DVD will help people get the right help if they are worried about Cancer or are having
pain in their stomach which might mean going for tests.
We are looking for people to help us with the DVD. If you know anyone with a learning disability who might like to help, has experience of Cancer
