Abuse is bad
Nobody should be abused, abuse is bad. Abuse is when someone does something to you, which hurts you or makes you feel bad. Abuse is when someone has
power over you or they do not respect your choices or your feelings.
Abuse can happen to anyone and at any time. It can happen at home, at school, at work, in the street and when you are out
having fun. Sometimes people use other words for abuse like harassment, hate crimes, assault and rape. Sometimes the person who might be abusing you can be someone you know very well. It may be
someone you don't know at all.
This film shows you what abuse can mean, where it might happen and how it might be stopped. The film shows bad scenes where someone is being abused and good scenes
where someone is being respected.
