Fire Safety information for people with learning disabilities is very important. Lots of people are living independently now and need to keep safe in their homes.

This project will help more people learn about fire safety by making information accessible and produce a DVD to help people to become safer in their own homes.

Our Fire Safety Champions are out into the community and teaching people about Fire Safety, how to recognise fire hazards in their own home and tell people what to do if they discover a fire. We have been working hard delivering training and producing information to help people with learning disabilities and/or autism to understand Fire Safety.

This project will help people with learning disabilities and/or autism by producing information and training which is accessible to them, and ultimately protects them against the hazards of fire.

You can watch the DVD above online or order a DVD copy by emailing orders@friendlyresources.org.uk

There is a new workbook which can help people in one-to-one sessions or in group work.
